I've actually seen 400K on a few here over the years. If you get extremely regular about changing all fluids, and don't hot rod the drive train, the 3800 is one of the most durable gas powered engines ever made.

When I bought my Park Ave a long while back, I parked an 87 Olds Regency with the 3800 with 217,000 on it out back. It still purred without as much as a tick in the engine. I figured it was dated, wouldnt get anything for it, and just left it back there for an "emergency". The emergency never came and just a few years ago I sent it to the wrecking yard because the wife was bitchin. The tires had sunk in the ground, the Vinyl top came apart, and the whole exhaust rusted/fell to the ground.

My GXP has a metric button that allows most of the gauges to go from US to Metric. Do the Canadian made Bonnevilles do this?

I went to a Bar one night, pulled right up front, got lucky someone just pulled out. Alot of people out front smoking cigs started looking the car over and after I had a couple beers a few asked for a ride. I didnt have to go but a couple blocks till the main drag turned into a wide 2 lane county highway. After a brief WOT through the gears, I coasted down to a speed to turn around in a farmers driveway. They piled back out at the Bar exclaiming to everyone I took them over 2OO MPH. I had the HUD off, All were buzzed and didnt notice the little light designating the KMPh was on.
