anyone else have mosquitos?
spring is here, and so are the dang skeeters. they are one of the few insects i cannot stand, and unless my eyes decieve me i think theyre even BIGGER this year, only moments ago i thought a small fixed-wing aircraft was flying about in my room, but nope it was a skeeter. grabbed the shotgun and blasted the sumbitch but it just laughed maybe thats a slight exxageration but those things are huge, i hit it with a towel and finally took it down. i shouldve taken a picture of it. and i was on here at the time so i thought id rant about our huge mosquitos, does Canada have those nasty things?

I don't like skeeters either! Especially since they have the West Nile virus running rampant. You can't even enjoy being outdoors when they are around unless you smell like OFF or Cutter.

HEY MA!! Fix yer profile!!
Still too cold in Minnesota for the skeeters to be running rampant, but we did get one in the van at the drive-in a couple of weeks ago. Plus, we're supposedly under draught conditions here, so maybe they'll be lighter this year than most.
And I don't let stuff like West Nile and whatnot bother me. I'm not letting the media scare me inside. I'll wear the bug juice if I have to...

im not too worried bout the West Nile virus either, but i wish we could have like a mini-drought here, weve had so much rain that the skeeters are goin crazy. and i think we got a strange breed of em or somethin. like today we had friends from Tulsa here and they were like "whats that flyin around" i was like "mosquito" they were like "OMG i thought it was a dragonfly or somethin!!" they were as we like to say city-folk. but just gives you a general idea on the size of em.

What freaks me out is when I leave the windows cracked in the summer, then get in the car, start driving and soon find out there is a wasp or skeeter flying around your head. That bugs me so much. No pun intended!
