Hello everyone

Well I just wanted to say hello to everyone to let you know I'm still here in a manner of speaking. Things here have been rough on the car front but there is a light at the end of the tunnle. I'll never see the money from the idiot that did the install on my Bonne but at this point I don't really care. He's in bankruptcy and I'm pretty far down on the list of people he owes. Karma will hook that punk up someday, I'm sure  I have just started plans to replace the motor on my own this time. I have the family house in Eugene to use for the job. I just need to come up with the money for the new motor now. I'm not going to sell my Conquest to do this. I will make do until I work up the cash. The Conquest means to much. I'm not giving up on the Bonneville or this club even if you're not seeing much of me. My family is well and I hope everyone here is doing OK.
I will prevail......

Well the company I bought the motor from kept it after the engine failure analysis. So I'm starting from scratch. I may end up buying a longblock again, and a new front cover and just doing the install myself. I still have the SC but the long block w/ frontcover is gone. I'm putting together two cars that were given to me to try to work up the money I'll need. I have a red Eagle Talon that should be here within a couple of weeks. I'll be droping a tranny in at worst on that. Very easy on the FWD 2.0l. I should be able to get about 1500-1700 on that. I also have an 88 z-24 that needs a rebuild and a paint job. Has new suspension, tranny, chip, and then some. My lil' Sis was going to take it and use it for parts on here cavalier but finished the head work on her Honda and now just want's to drive it. Kids  Just what I needed. Another non-driving car. I'll just sell that for a couple hundred bucks. It's just all going to take some time and that sucks being I should be driving my car now :(
