Yeah after dark. But when you have them on, and lights, you'll stick out like a sore thumb, it's a huge gray halo, i saw it a lot on Allmachtiges car when he was visiting me.

My headlights don't suck...

Yes driving lights are pretty much required with running them at night.

must suck to be in mn then
head AND tail blackouts are legal here...

I wouldn't do it, seems like a waste of money to me... my freind had them on his dakota, they looked cool during the day, but did nothing as far as lighting goes during the night.

balck outs only look good on certian cars w/ certain colors anyway, I had them on my other bonnie it looked aiight but; I fell out of place with tha other bonnie owners so I took em off.

I never take my blackouts off and I've never gotten pulled over. The combo of my lights and fog lights make it perfectly safe and lit up to drive.

Well TINTING your tails has no noticable effect when your lights are on.

I would be taking them off at ngiht atleast until i got my 3200's.

I saw them on another Black GTP and they look amazing.

I just passed two white GP GT coupes on my way home from work and they both had the GTS black-outs on them. Both of them still had their DRL's hooked up as the tails were off, but I could tell the headlights were one -I could barely tell.
I had black-outs on my old 1992 Bonneville and tried driving at night with them and 50w fogs and I had a hell of a time seeing -the lights didn't project nearly as fast as the car was covering the ground they were projecting.

I'd say go for 'em, but take them off at night (not that hard to take them off and reinstall -only takes like 30 seconds max).
