Default My Cousin Is A Ricer

The one with the Mustang V6.

So, the story. I tell him I just bought a Ski Doo 500SS. He gets all excited, and says, "sweet, how fast have you gone?" I say 98mph. He says hell ya. I then say that I was going to do a few things to my car and that it might be able to do 160mph when i'm done. His smile goes away and hes silent for a sec. Then he says, "why don't you get a sports car insted of these old person cars all the time?" I tell him, "it will smoke you're V6 stang and prolly even a stock GT." He says, " I dunno, those little Hondas could rip into you're car." I say those things are just rice, only a few are are very fast. He then tells me I should have got a old Dodge Charger so I can do wheelies. It then dawns on me hes seen the FATF WAAAY to many times.

I woulda ripped into him on the subject a little bit since he knows NOTHING about cars. But.... he is a trained Marine in hand to hand combat and can kill a person within 5 seconds. So, like a little bit^h I just backed off. Nedless to say, if I ever see him in his POS, I can show him what my old person car can do.

Hondas sure are fast tho.

The only thing that makes a honda seem fast when driving is the crappy suspension and excessive RPM'* it takes to gain any speed.

We were thinking of buying a stupid honda for my wife, but on the test drive I tell her -
"This car is not that fast, it does not get up and go like the Taurus (her old car) and certainly not like my LeSabre."

The civics tho, all Bs aside, those things don't perform for crap. I mean you can't even safely pull out into traffic. Not unless the car in the lane is a mile away.

The bonne'* tho, it is like you decide on a speed, hit the gas accordingly, and it'* pretty much there.

Honda - driver decides on a speed, hit the gas, and the car says - "WTF you want me to move?" As the driver says - PLEASE hurry! There is a 3800 coming and it'* going to crunch me!

98mph thats wild! But I bet half of that is pretty freaking cool.

Never driven a honda but I've driven a Kia with a little 1.9L 4 in it. I can understand if you drive alot and want to get maxium mpg or just couldn't get something with a bigger motor in it for the budget. But when I drove cross country with this Kia it was terrible. The car was fine 100% but I just don't see how you could pull out into traffic and not worry about being hit.

my old car was a 1990 acura legend, it had decent pickup but it didnt compare to the bonne, it definitely handled great tho, that thing was low and wide, they dont make em like they used to, aside from the nsx i doubt any of the current hondas could turn as fast as that thing could without falling over or at least getting a wheel off the ground

98 mph on one of those is insane man

i had a mitsubishi mirage with a 1.5 and sometimes merging it was wild with the pedal to the floor, the engine just didnt have enough power to accelerate fast enough and ran out of pull at 110mph on a good day

now my moms kia that thing is FAST with the 2.4, i mean its got some serious pull compared to any other foreign car ive driven, and it dosent even run out of breath in the triple digits.

if you ever see your cuz on the street to hell with being nice, rip him a new one hehe

Im sure you dont like "honda driver" that tell you your car is a boat or something like that, why you talk **** about honda car and driver?? depend on opinions only (ok theres people that think their car are hot)

i had a '91 hatchback with a B16a (SiR japan) with some minor mods, and it was moving as fast as my bonneville. (no supercharger, no turbo)
(If you see an LSvtec in an hatchback civic, dont even think you stand a chance, one of my friend run 13.49@103mph on slick with it ,it only got special piston and chipped ecu, with the exhaust sytem too, headers)

OK, that is not a luxurious car, but its a more fun to beat than a Bonneville.(imo)

Everyday driving i prefer the bonneville.

Im not trying to talk against any people or car brand, just not underestimate all honda
like some people do for Bonneville.

...back to main subject...

My friends who drove rice talked smack when I first got my Bonne, till they saw my tailights a few times.
But there was that guy who kept his mouth shut because I had already schooled his Matrix with my mothers escort.

I don't have anything against going fast, just be carefull. Too many people die around here from getting thrown off there snowmobile.

Agree, we always get to a cleared area like a lake, and spotcheck the track for any holes or snow.

Riding like that in a trail with threes is completly irresponsible, you can injure/ kill yourself and other snowmobile users.
