okay am tryin to sign up for college classes and i have a few questions about what things are....

what is tcp/ip? i know its something with the internet (i think)

how about word processing? sounds like a stupid question but i just want to make sure i dont take the wrong classes and that but wouldnt that be something to do with microsoft word?

what are micocomputers application?..

or tech concepts?


or Microcomputer Operating System?

Word processing is basically what it sounds like. you're taking thoughts and t urning them into words either written, or typed. It'* basically like writing, but more sophisticated and technical

These are programs that are used to do certain tasks, such as word processing, drafting, etc. Basically, if you have Microsoft Office, you'd be using all of those programs to do different task.

Well, what do you like to do with computers? Programming, networking, word processing, etc?

i recently took a class and we did html at the end of it and i liked that but at the moement my college (community) only offers that at night and i cant change my work shift or get 3 days off a week so am considering lookin into other things to do till next sem. when i have time to transfer to a college that offers it during the day. and thanks for the info
