Default Had to go to Ansul school two weeks ago...

Took some quick photos while I waited for the class to begin..

I was getting my 5 year recertification for fire system service tech.

There was a authorized distributer board up displaying all the companies selling Ansul products. Pretty cool my company (Van'* Fire & Safety) has been in it for a long time. 48+ years my boss told me once.

Quick shot of the fire safety training grounds for hand portables. Pretty intense training grounds in the summer. I'll have to take photos when I go for that again.

Ok turn your head to the right. sorry...
Anyways..cool chromed out 'Redline' Extinguisher. High pressure cartridge unit. Found in paper mills and other heavy industrial settings.

Here is one of two old extinguisher display cases as you enter the main lobby. left side..

Here is the other one. right side..

The recertification class was for restaurant fire suppression system design and service.

One of many display walls with old photos and art from over the years..

ok again sorry...turn your head left. 'Ansul Man' thats me..jk one of my nicknames

Only 38 people were here this time around....empty classroom

Bought this hat....

crap! Turn left again....
Really old wheeled unit. Very cool. would not fit in my work truck so i put it back,,,jk

This one is cool to!

Thank you for sharing Todd. That was very nice tour! I like it when a company takes old nostalgic equipment and puts it on display.

When I worked at McDonald'* we had an Ansul kitchen fire suppression system. One for the grill, and on for each of the fry vats.

I was told that if any of them were pulled that they'd have shut the store down for like a day because it would take so long to clean up the foam. Truth?

Yea it would take quite awhile to clean that stuff up. Other than the normal clean up, they would have to drain all the fryer vats, grills and everything and put back to health standards.
Halon would be easier, but its far more expensive to maintain.

I think we used the portable foam tanks on our flight line.

Very nice Todd. I like the display cases of fire extinguishers.

And on a side note: You know you can rotate pictures with almost any photo editing software right?
