It's pretty bad when a car actually looks better on blocks than its ridiculous wheels.

Danthurs 12-17-2010 07:04 AM

Why do people think making your car look like a baby buggy looks good.

I'd buy it, but before I even left his house, I'd put some SSEi rims on it.

Bleeeech! But, everyone has got their own style. I'm wondering now how the owner dresses.

I would hate to see the hackjob on the suspension to enable cramming of the 24's

I'd hate to see it, too, but now I'm morbidly curious. (Not that I plan on putting 24's on mine.)

I really can't figure out why people do that. It looks ridiculous, you loose all performance, it tears up your drive train, it rides like a lumber truck, and the wheels cost more then the car they go on. Got a coworker that had a nice car, then tossed on some big wheels. He paid $1000 each. Then had to buy tires. He had them one season and hit a pot hole. That was a grand gone. Those thin tires also are dangerous, they really have far less grip then you might think. Without the side wall flex the surface of the tire rolls over instead of staying in contact with the road.
