Well, tonight at 530 central, I begin my 9 week course on Astronomy. I think it will be pretty cool. I mean I have always liked Star Trek and Stargate so how much different can it be...? Anybody else ever take this class before or have any tips?

Big time astronomy buff!

I remember last year during the blackout, instead of carting my arse onto BC, I looked up at the night sky. Since all the city lights were out, and it was July, you could see EVERYTHING, stars, planets, passing satellites. It was incredible!

I dont often get to experience the rural nights, but damn it was great. I have always loved the universe and often marvelled at our insignificance.

You may have just inspired me to look into this.

Oh and AVID Trek buff here, TNG, DS9, VOY and now ENT
