I had a buddy with one, rattle can, bad head gasket, French hard to get cheap parts.
Shoot for an older Datsun or Toyota pickup of the same vintage, i hear they're making a come back?

Hey if its in good condition heck yeah!!! You would turn more heads than someone driving a vette etc.
If you dont get it look for a decent running Yugo those will get the looks for sure and be cheap cheap on fuel.

Oh now that is cool. But spare parts are going to be a PAIN to find. Engine and transmission parts will probably be easier than anything else. Interior parts.....woof. If it needs engine work, there are a couple guys out there making some good performance motors for SCCA type cars. This would be one of those cases where a new full-race (HA!!!) motor would be cheaper, and EASIER, than a stock rebuild.
