It is now being held at Memorial Park in Royal Oak Michigan. The park is located right off of Woodward Avenue which is home to the Woodward Dream Cruise.

The meet is scheduled to start at 10:00 am and is supposed to go until 8:00 pm. They've got the whole park rented out and there will also be a DJ so we'll have some tunes. Because of this they're asking anybody bringing a car to donate $5, however I'm sure it'* not completely necessary if you're really that broke. Food won't be provided but it sounds like there'* plenty of places within walking distance to get food from.

This meet sounds like it'll be ridiculously big. The event page on facebook currently has 250 people saying they're attending so even if only half of them show up, there will probably be at least 100 of these cars there. It sounds like they're trying to make it a yearly thing too.

I will be attending this event. In one of Ws. Looks like a lot of people attending this event at least from those you have joined from facebook.

I know it'* open to other cars besides just ones from the W platform. I believe it costs money. Around 5 dollars. The park is nice I have been to the park before, but never to this meet. There is a lot of places in walking distance to eat at. This is a pretty nice area.

I'd thought I post this up in case an Metro Detroiers or other members wanted to check out this meet.

I will be there along with many of my other friends that I have met around the Bonneville forums over the years, going back to my house after the meet for a huge surprise birthday party for my wife with those same people..... gonna be a blast!

I should be in my black 2003 SSEi but also could be in my red 2002 SE. The SSEi is much cooler being supercharged and all, but the SE doesn't have gas door rot lol. Either way I will be looking for your car, would love to check it out in person!

Weather permitting I will be showing up in my Cutlass with the top down.

I went a scooped out the Royal Oak community center today. Looks to be a pretty nice place for a meet. This event is less than 2 weeks away now.

In case anyone is interested. There is a Grand prix car wash just around the corner and up the road from the park. It would make a decent spot to grab a picture and wash your car.
