Can Ford Boy be Dodge Boy?
i am planning on checking out a 93 lebaron. i am told that the drive train is in good shape, interior is immaculate, and that the car has been setting since november and needs to be gotten rid of. simply put, the car got replaced, and was in perfect running order when it quit being used. she wants $400 to get it out. thoughts? what should i look for?

if it lasts me a year, than it'* worth the money.
i spent $525 on the tempo, and it still has more time in it.

Depends on the engine. 3.0 V6- bad valve seals. Not a big deal just smokes at idle. 2.2/2.5 4-cyl, check for valvetrain noise, bearing noise, or headgasket seepage. 3-speed auto, don't worry about it. 4-speed OD- change fluid right away and only use ATF+3, nothing else.

$400 for a car is not bad. I have had many long lasting cars for $400-$600. My concern would be undeneath the car since it sat for 6 months. Over time parts can get dry rot and rust can be an issue too. If you can get underneath the car to take a peek around, I would do so before handing out your cash.
Im not sure how inspections work in NM, but look over everything that an inspection station would to ensure the car will at least pass the safety inspection.
Good luck!!
