Daytona 400
So who watched the firecracker 400? The finish was amazing. I was happy that neither busch, johnson, or gordon won. The TV guys said it was the second closest finish since 93 when electronic scoring was started in Nascar .

That was a heck of a finish. really thought Gordon was going to pull it off, nice to see some different names fighting it out. Plus, it was nice that two of the guys I don't like being so far back. Just wished my guy (Newman) would have had a better finish, still haven't made it into the top 12 in points yet. Currently 14th. :(

yeah that was a great last lap. nice to see someone other than johnson or gordon win. was bummed that jr and stewart were taken out of it early. its a good thing for nascar to have some different drivers winning the last few weeks.

I didn't watch the Firecracker 400, but I DID watch the Pepsi 400, and it had the same guys driving in it you were talking about!
I'm just glad the shrub didn't win. He won the busch series race earlier, but NASCAR confiscated his front springs after the race, so he may be in trouble AGAIN. Two weeks in a row.
Looks like a little fued between the teammates of Stewart and Hamlin cost Jr. dearly. He held himself solid in the standings in spite of a 36th place car that was damaged in two different wrecks.
