My Fiancee is a vegetarian, and a couple of our good friends are vegan. I see nothing wrong with it, as long as they don't condemn me for eating meat (which they don't) and some of the foods that they make are really good. I personally don't like tofu at all, but am definitely eating healthier now than before.

Stick with it, find a good farmer'* market, or others doing it, and you'll be fine.

You guys should read the book The China Study. In it, T. Colin Campbell explains thoroughly why eating meat is scientifically, mathematically bad for you. Kids and bodybuilders don't need meat, no one needs meat, and ultimately you can shut off cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and even reverse heart disease by not consuming meat and milk products. It'* a result of 40 years of experience in nutrition and a 27-year study called The China Study. They were able to conclude why people in China can smoke for 70 years, not get cancer, and live on like there'* nothing wrong with smoking.

Tee hee.

Excellent! That'* one more person to read the book! I actually support SLEighride in this because I read the book, talked about it with my friend who had to read it for his 400-level nutrition class in college, and also went vegetarian.

Personally I have three thoughts of this all.

What you ate for 20-30-40 years can't be offset by starting a new regime. The damage is done, and as time ticks by it'* going to catch you. Or taking supplements and eating some good thins and continuing to BK and McD like I see so many do. We aren't Chinese, we didn't eat like them since birth.

Live a good life, and enjoy all in Moderation, and live. When our time comes it comes. Personally if it is at 75, or 85 in a diaper, ???

Dam that Sausage looks GOOD!!!! Got Cheddar?
