Turboed contour newbie but A idea!!!!
Well as for some of you know I own a 1995 ford contour 2.0 dohc zetec auto and I kinda want to turbo it....... I was told I dont need new pistons and rods untill I reach 200 hp and stock I have 125 so I have a way to go. I figure get a cheap turbo from the junkyard off like a eclipse or something rig it up and turbo my contour upgrade the fuel injectors to a higher psi and upgrade the fuel pump I wonder if i should fix my head gasket before I do this or at least locate the oil leak lol but could this work or would It take more?

I think you need to do a lot more research into turbo'*. You will need to fab a lot of piping as well as oil lines that will route to the turbo. You will probably need some sort of stand alone fuel management that will feed more fuel into the engine as the turbo forces air in not to mention stronger internals to hold all the pressure.
Then there is the matter of the operator...

Killer, you have blown head gaskets and at least one torn CV boot. Not to mention the other problems. How about getting your car in top running condition first?

Heh, You do need to do alot of research, if you need any help I can help you. The engine would really need to be rebuilt, if it can only handle 200hp its not worth putting thousands of dollars into a turbo project to push what, 5-7psi on a big turbo?
Honestly it would be a waste of money, I had about 4500 just into the engine and transmission of my saturn and I was between 211-260hp depending on how much boost I had the turbo set to.
But a short run down would be rebuilding the engine with forged rods, maybe forged pistons
-Turbo
-Oil feed and return lines
- tapped oil pan with oil return fitting
- custom exhaust manifold and downpipe
- intercooler would be a must for to acheive anything over 5 psi of boost
- IC piping
- fuel management system, i would recommend megasquirt
- bigger injectors, 45# maybe
- bigger exhaust
- blow off valve
- sensors
- WB O2 sensor
- fuel pump
- boost gauge
- maybe slim line fans
... etc etc etc etc etc etc etc... shall I say there is alot more?

This blank space was everything I wanted to say
But it bordered on flaming, so I deleted it.
Killer, you gotta walk before you can run. I knew a kid in high school that had a complete stereo system, amps, subs, everything, a FULL year before he owned a car! you GOTTA put the cart before the horse, every great building started with a strong foundation.
