I remember those days as well... can't say that I miss them. What I do miss is the speed I had when I was on cable (Comcast). Where I live now, all we have available is either DSL, or Hughesnet. Cable doesn't even come down the road I live on, and they won't run a new line unless a minimum of something like 70% of the people living on the street agree to sign up long term. AT&T Uverse ends about a mile from me, but further roll out of it has stalled for now as well.

Drove to to Indianapolis with the family for Christmas. Ended up needing two cars so the VW and Buick made the trip on down.

You stopped by the car wash before your destination didn't you? LOL. I would have too.

Glad you made the trip safe and sound.

How were the road conditions Nathan? Is that about 400 miles or so?
Ya like Mike..I also wash the car if covered in winter salt & grime ASAP !
I like the DIY spray/power wash bays then u can really get underneath as well.

Not as bad as I thought. Most of the roads were clean and clear. Mostly no snow the whole way. Then as I got closer to my destination there was about an inch. It'* warming up and it'* starting to melt off.

I didn't wash the cars yet. I spent about 3 hours yesterday cleaning them. Both have been oil sprayed and waxed really good so they should be fine.

the roads where bad this morning mostly because they didnt salt or plow them and there was a bunch of frozen slush. the town must be cutting back used to be as soon as the snow started you would hear trucks all the time now they hardly do it on weekends at all.

Ya that sucks when they don't maintain the roads properly. I can see not using much salt if it is not needed, but avoiding plowing & service on weekends? That is just leaving slippery conditions, and accidents waiting to happen!
