Talking about GO....PRO.....
There is only one question to answer.... If you were suited up and given a helmet, would you go for a ride in the passenger seat? |

the kit is 65, so for less than 100 with coolant and oil you can fix it, i would rather spend that then get some unknown car with who knows what other problems
Fel-Pro MS98003T PermaDryPlus Gasket : Amazon.com : Automotive The thing is, I don't know what other damage I might have done when it overheated. I'm willing to bet there's a lot of hidden damage. Besides, where its higher mileage, who knows when something else could go wrong with it. I'm looking into a 2001 LeSabre with 190k kms on it now. From the pictures it appears to be pretty solid, and supposedly it only needs a hand brake cable to pass inspection. |
if you can get another decent car that would be better but, typically not going to get anything decent for a couple hundred bucks

Started on a project last night. Just a couple teaser pics. I haven't polished chrome in a long time. Mostly because I don't like it as much as other metals.

It's from a 1920s Graham Paige.
It's now hanging as a light fixture in my downstairs stair well. Attachment 15354 Attachment 15355 http://i1296.photobucket.com/albums/...ps2775428e.jpg Attachment 15356 |
