im very jealous trav. wish 06+ cars were so cheap down here. i really want an 06-13 buick. pretty much any model apart from the suv'*/vans. hopefully i will have a decent tax check this year and carmax will offer a decent trade in value. its just time for a change. the park ave has served me well, but its time to change things up!
also, will you be swapping any of the mods from the century?

Apart from the horns, HIDs and fog lights, there won't be much more swapped over. I might save up for a proper CAI/SRI, and I'll probably put an AUX input in if it doesn't already have one.

i think it would look pretty good with just whats on it with the blacked out grill and body color or what ever black you use on the grill on those chrome pieces. i looked up a pic of the super, its not much different and still has the chrome things

Travis I dont want to scare you but want u to make an informed decision.
Most dealers have done an inspection of some sort on the vehicle. I would want to know what remains percentage wise on brakes/tires and see the report. Some dealers even offer a BCAA 143 point awesome inspection, which was very important when the price they wanted was $20k for the 54,000 km Jeep. I still made jeep subject to, a scratch touch up, adding better trailer wiring, viewing it on the lift and then subsequently, getting dealer to use their flush machine and service the transmission as you could see the goop gasket was close to failing, as it was weeping. I also asked for interior to be professionally steam cleaned as I am that picky, as there was a small coffee stain under drivers matt. I then checked other similar jeep prices on craigs list and in the end they agreed to the subjects to, and a final cash price offer.
With any car that has higher kms, you should how important a solid inspection can be in ensuring you know what u are buying, and negotiating needed repairs.
The dealer also must provide declaration regarding accidents, taxi/ commercial use and lease/lean free documentation. Here ICBC (insurance company)for a nominal fee will tell you if it has even been in any accident even under $2000 with history/print out.
The bottom line I take the love affair /snap decisions out of car buying and get down to informed decisions from inspections and then decide is this really the car for me?

Well, that blue allure turned out to be a bust. Was in pretty rough shape. Looked like it was an ex rental car. Seemed like it was well abused. That, and the fact they were selling it "as traded" was a deal breaker. Found a 2007 Allure with 130k kms that'* in great shape and much nicer than the 09, and it has been inspected. Signing the papers in the morning.

I don't have any interior or engine bay shots. Nothing special under hood. Just a dusty Series III 3800. I'm going to thoroughly clean the inside on my next day off, and clean up under the hood a little. The cap on the positive terminal of the battery was left off and caused some corrosion around the terminal, so I'll clean that up before I have any troubles with it.
I'm much happier with this one. It seems like it'* a lot better than the other one. The paint is in good shape, minus a couple scratches and a chip by the trunk.

im not a real big fan of red yet i have ended up with 2 red atv'*, red jeep and red 89 pickup. just because they were a good deal.
i think i would still do the chrome black out thing, and maybe some thin oval fogs in the corners of the lower grill
