still getting that truck but i just talked to a good friend of mine who has an 88 camaro rs and and 86 berlinetta...The 88 RS has a 2.8 v6 and a 5 speed Well he told me he blew the motor in the 88 RS..remeber when i said i had a 383 stroker sittin in the garage....Just found its body things in great shape..He said he junkyard offerd him 450 for it..But sense i sold him my 87 camaro a few years back for 400 when i had offers for 800 on it...He said he'd sell it to me for 300 bucks...Will have pics sunday when i pick it up...Im sooooo excited...that v6 is coming out and gonna be used as my boat anchor ha all the v6 wiring is going and the 383 is going in with a new bellhousing on the 5 speed

Nice! sounds like an awesome project. The wife and I almost bought one of those a few years back had the 2.8 and 5 speed too. Didn't work out. Those body styles are either loved or hated it seems, I like them. There'* a guy around here that used to have one slightly jacked up with a push bar and rally lights, actually looked kinda cool.

yes back on topic lol i love the 82-92 aka 3rd gen f bodys i have the firebird logo tattoed on my leg just havent gotten around to getting the camaro logo lol....They were my first love before 3800'* came into my life lol..once i got my ssei i sold my 87 camaro..to the guy im gettin the 88 from and sold my 86 firebird..My first car was a Gunmetal color 84 firebird with a carb'd 2.8 and a 700r4..so im gettin back to my first love and hope to get another bonne come spring time
