Its definitely an acquired taste to most people. I drank a lot of hard alcohol before I learned beer was cheaper and did the job just as fast. 
I'm ready go to downtown. Got layers of green on and lots of beads

Personally, I don't prefer beer either but on St. Patricks day I make an exception.
