now this pisses me off !
my wife , who is very good at keeping our checkbook straight , notices that there are 2 checks missing. right in order and she syas she didnt write them. so she put a stop payment on them. only 4 people live in our house and her two kids " didnt take em " .
so we get a notice in the mail that one of the checks was cashed. it was cashed somewhere and the bank stopped payment on it when they got it. $90 . we are not liable for it.
was written out to a brad "something" . i will get a copy of the check in a few days and then i am making a police report. if it was one of her kids that did this they are going to have some hell to pay ! i will find out the truth behind this. there is still another check out there " somewhere" . i am getting madder and madder the more i think about it !

well this one wasnt hard to fugure out. both of my stepsons denied having anything to do with it. they finally posted the check info online today and lo and behold the 16 year old forged a $90 check to pay for the i-pod he has been walking around with for the last week. the one he "borrowed from a friend ". he forged his mothers signature and even wrote " for i-pod " on the check.
i had to leave the house for a couple of hours for fear of breaking something or someone ! this is my wifes youngest son , who we just got custody of back in january. his 30 day stint in the oakland county youth home was enough to convince the court to take custody away from his father. the kid is still on probation and i really feel like sending his *** back right now. man , i dont need this crap !!!!!!!!!!!

Of course you took away the Ipod right?
Not sure how I would react if my kids pulled something like that, but I'm not certain I would have your restraint. I hope they never do.

Very impressed that you have kept your cool. Really no good advice to offer, wish I could.
I have never been in that situation before.
Good luck with sorting this out.
