Garages (updated with pics)

I knos that some here are lucky enough to have 2 car garages with minimal clutter in them. Also there are others with single car that have to share space with laundry, house mechanical ETC.

I am blessed (cursed?) with a single car attached that shares the washer/dryer/water heater. I also store work stuff in one corner on a shelf. I have 3 more shelving units and my workbench build from an old door. Throw in a cherry pickers and air compressor and there isnt much room left once you throw in family clutter. I would love to see some clever discussion about how you solved your space problems, assuming you had any.

Its not just car stuff out there. Its also typical crap a family of 4 has to deal with

i know exactly what your talking about...i have a single garage door but its a double garage....i live with my mom for about another month till i go to college she messes with all my tools so i just store them in my closet...but about the space solving...thats an unknown mystery haha i had to move to the driveway :(

Organize.

I have a single-car garage with washer, dryer, furnace, and water heater.

i am cursed to nothing more than an apartment, or currently a storage unit and a couch in someone else's apartment.

i've still got a van that could be a bad arse dragster if only i had a garage.

Nice work Bill, I guess the W/D serve as the workbench? In my case, I think the workbench is what took over, its an old 36x80 door set on a frame I built against the wall, complete with a bench-front receptacle for those tools that never seem to have a convenient outlet. However its size may be just too much for the space.

11X22 is what I have to work with, after seeing yours I have renewed hope. The TV idea isnt bad either LOL, may do that eventually. Do you not have direct access to the house from garage? It appears you have one doorway, I have 2 not counting overhead and I know that takes a little space away.

Here is how I spent my day off. Not perfect but better.

After, gotta get some family members to come pickup their stuff, which will add some space. Still not ever getting a car in there unless I take down or make the workbench a fold down type deal.

All the shelves are as full as this one, looks like I take this one bite at a time. Many thanks to CrzyDaughter for the pic taking and being a good sport :D

I have a two car.. I keep it clean by cluttering a "workshop/basement" I need to put some shelving up over head on the sides to absorb some clutter.

Here is what is really bad Bill, Where the joists are above the bench, where the light is attached, is an open loft. Its full too, mostly of "projects" , holiday stuff and other etc. Nothing auto-related up there.

It actually looks better than the pics, just a keychain digital taking those pics.
