NASA Shuttle Launch, Mar 10-11th
Night launch. Tuesday morning, 2:28 AM EST
I was probably headin over there late evening (I hope it goes off on time) if on schedule and will either be sleepin...well..somewhere, maybe in a tree or I'll be driving back afterwards. Probably not staying if they reschedule it for anything later than the next day.
I'm sure I'll know where Don & Brad will be, but who else might want to get together and hang for a few hours before & during?

WELL, heading out tomorrow, early afternoon. Should be getting there around 5-6 PM. Since no one has responded , I don't really know where I'll be for the launch.
Either in Melbourne or Titusville I imagine. Brad? Don? What're you guys doin?
You guys have my number, gimme a call if you wanna meet up. I may or may not be back online before I leave.

I would so be there! But I won't. I saw a daytime launch, I would LOVE to see a nightime launch, the sound is like nothing else, much less the light they put off!!

Well, I'll probably be sleeping until midnight...I'll talk to my boss today about taking tomorrow off (though one guy already has it off) or just coming in late.
Since the spare room is now a workout center, the couch will have to suffice if you need a crash pad.

I have an 8AM class on Tues. so I'll be missing this launch.:(
If you're feeling brave, Space View park is about the closest you can get to the launch but it'* probably going to be packed with people. Most of the beaches and quite a few spots off of US-1 around the Titusville/Cocoa area offer great views as well (without the crowds).

Oh well. Change of plans. Something financial came up JUST today a few hours ago, so looks like the 100 bucks of gas it would take to do it just got pre-reserved.
Enjoy the launch fellas. Maybe next time.
Hopefully I can see something from this coast...but its supposed to be cloudy.

We'll all get together some time when we can get the times all squared away
