Got the call from a very happy Gunner. "I got 4th, I got 4th!". That dead trans went in with a disappointment. Had no 4th from the start. Glad to see it fail in such a catastrophic way that the JY can't deny that something is bad inside.
Dan..as for tossing in a pump and a shaft. I wouldn't. I'd want to go through the valve body and while you are there, check the rest of the trans out. Fluid starvation is bad for a trans and can cause many other issues. Who knows what else could be bad inside that thing. Especially since Steve drove it for a while.

Oh boy... and the circle starts over. Steve replaces his blown trans, then blows the motor. He replaces the motor, and it is so powerful it eats his trans and spits it back out all over the road.

my car is not going back to the track anytime soon. and i got 4* KR which is down 1* from a year and a half of driving it like a raped ape. however the KR only happens when i nut it so i have been staying off the throttle since the new trans got put in.
