Default Towing with a */c

I have heard from a few people thet you shouldn't tow if you have a */c. Is it because you may end up in boost for extended time or what? Is this even true? I guess what I am getting at is why would it be OK to tow with a N/A motor but not a */c'd motor if they both produce the same HP and TQ?

Depends on what you're towing. I've towed with both of mine, but not heavy loads. A tranny cooler and temp gauge are requirements.

I'm sure light loads are fine. I wouldn't tow anything heavy with a Bonneville anyways. I was wondering more about if you added a */c to a truck. Is it not wise (to tow) just because of the extra power or something more */c specific. If its just the added power than wouldn't an agressive cam and such be just as bad for towing, or maybe it is, I don't know.
