It was working for me when I posted it. well, here is what the site said
this thing was for sale on eBay back in April 2006. don't know if he actually ended up selling it though. It is originally a Eagle though, but yes it had the front differential removed to accomodate the 454 LS-7 in there. heres a link to the present website about it: http://www.geocities.com/sgmiller_mcp/THE_FREAK.html

don't know if thats the new owners website or the original owners.

and heres the information from the auction when it had been up:
you are looking at one of the wildest street rides on the east coast. it is known as the "Freak".

it started out as a 4x4 1981 amc eagle and has been in our family for over 20 yrs. but then i got hold of it and made a few changes.(tisk, tisk).

well, first you heard right... it is a genuine, authentic, RARE "Baldwin Motion" 454 phase III LS-7 that i have had for many yrs. ID ON BLOCK IS T0612XCH. then i decided to put it in the Freak. the motor was originally installed in a "Mako Shark" by Motion Performance and Joel Rosen in Baldwin, New York. i have the history of the motor from day one and know the local guy that had the Mako Shark.

the eagle has run a best of 6.41 @ 108mph in the 1/8 mile and a 10.12 spinning @ 130 in the 1/4. that is on the motor and no nitrious. the car weighs 3100 lbs. with driver. and it hooks... 1.42 60 ft. time with wore out street hoosiers.

here is what the car has in it..., MOTOR.. stock bore 454 LS-7, 12.5 compression, with stock LS-7 heads with work done on them at Motion Performance when the motor was bought. 680 lift comp. cam with harland sharp 8.1 roller rocker arms. solid lifter cam. brodix intake (port matched). 1050 dominator (professionally tweaked) to 1350 cfm. moroso electric water pump, lower mount alternator, huge Griffin aluminum radiator, Ford Taurus electric fan with shroud, 8 in. 4500-5000 ATI converter with a 400 turbo with manual valve body. frame was professionally connected and the stock springs moved in 4 in. to accomodate the 14.5x28x15 hoosiers. it has a stock length 68 Nova 12-bolt rear in it with 4:10 gears. c-clip eliminators, strange spool and "south side machine" lift bars on it and i mean they work. it has stock 6-cylinder springs up front with comp. 90/10'*. in the rear it also has the comp. shocks and are 70/30'*. this thing usually pulls the front tires about 12 inches when it leaves the line. fuel cell and battery in hatch area with aluminum cover and carpet over it. 8-point cage with your usual racing seats and they both have the 5-point harness. 6 inch fiberglass cowl scoop mounted on the stock steel hood. i replaced the 4x4 front end with the amc concord 2-wheel drive unit. it was a bolt in deal. rack and pinion steering. i replaced every part on the front suspension because of the use it was about to get! took the "guard rail" bumper off the front to take that "granny" look away from it. there is no heater or wipers. it also has '69 camaro big block Hooker competition headers with the huge Flowmaster mufflers. MSD ignition with unilite distributor and added protronics ignitor.

this car is very streetable and never runs hot. it is so funny at the dragstrip.... i blow so many peoples doors off and they don't even know what the heck it is. and it always gets unbelieveable attention at the cruise ins. it sounds very nasty and it is. "you don't need a chevy to run fast, you just need a chevy motor"!!!!!!!!!!! thank you, HOTROD

Isn't that required by law when linking AMC stuff on a Pontiac Forum?
