The Forum that was bought was pretty slow and dieing of neglect. The name of it is an awesome score. Pretty much, it'* going to be wiped clean and merged with us. Our present Forum address will still take us to our Section of the new forum. We will most likely Section it into all the GM brands and take and expand things into subsections depending on participation. The merge, logistics of doing this, and keeping everything we have/are now incorporated into it is job one. When complete we will evaluate and move forward. Section off the brands and subsection as needed. Same for Lounges, Rides, and other subsections. Right now its get the structure up and then on to the "interior" of it.

And THAT is going to take a lot of work from the owner and all the staff here.
Also expect some down times while this is going on, and we ask that everyone please be patient with mechanical questions while everything is under construction. We will do everything we can to get to everyones question.

Buyouts? Mergers? What is this, corporate America?

Seriously though, I can't wait to see what you've got cooking for us.

We are going to be doing this with advanced IT Tech help Mike, there should only be 1 down time. (Fingers crossed) Sectioning and most things other than the merge can be done on the fly with the site up. We only need it down to consolidate. I will try to get a better timetable before the day is over. Again, there is just a basic plan thus far. Brand Sectioning. Then models/features subsectioning will depend on what kind of interest/traffic a Section receives. Anybody who owns other GM Brands/Models and wants to get involved in that Section should PM me. Dont expect a reply to those rught away. Got alot on my table all around this week.

Will Toyota owners be welcomed? LOL

Sounds like a decent way to expand the forum and see what others are doing to their rides.

Toyota owners will probably get to the site, be unable to stop quick enough to bookmark it and return.

That was FUNNY. No rice sections Tom. I have wanted to involved the other 3800 powered vehicles for some time but didnt really want to incorporate them into what we have presently. The opportunity came to grab this Forum, and it'* Sectioning and Name appealed to me as not only the best way to include the original thought but bring in all of GM. That itself is going to be quite a project to get off the ground and control. I want to keep us Clublike, and vehicle specific. Not an automotive catchall MegaForumMall. I know a few that tried this and they had no indentity, and turned out to be unmanageable automotive versions of "Yahoochat"
