Default Monitors and counsole games

Is it easily possible to hook up a counsole video game (nintendo, sony, etc..) to a computer monitor either through the monitor directly, or through a buffer of some sort, even if it is a computer acting like a "middle man" so to speak

Yeah use a VGA adaptor.

Heres a universal one

http://cgi.ebay.com/XBOX-PS2-Gamecub...QQcmdZViewItem

Just to warn you the quality wont be the best.

The only way to get real good quality is with a Dreamcast or XBOX High quality one.

Dreamcast ones are cheap, the good XBOX ones are about 50-100$

Best buy might have the XBOX specific one.

But if you wanna go universal one for all systems then that link is the way to go. I had one before and got it off that same guy.

Or you can use a TV tuner card, that you put in your PC. Some people say it creates lag. It depends what card you get.

Mmm check out mame stuff. Although it typically uses a pc hooked into an arcade game cabinet and monitor... many people enjoy the emulators on their pcs. You just d/l the roms and have fun.

The best quality is with a TV tuner card, but just watch out for the resolutions, those with like 372X256 (example) have lower resolution than the PS2,

you can get a good one from ATi, they offer one with 800X600 resolutions, that is better than game console.

with that i guaranteed no lag, if you have the right setup, theres no reason for lag.

just go to your local "computer saler" and ask him.

remember the resolution!! and the sound now came from your PC sound card= best

you can make video , pics etc...
