School has definitely started in my area. I live half a block north of a great big school. Kinda forgot about it until I got home yesterday and had to wonder "What's with all the traffic?"

It is so much fun watching parents bring their little ones to school for the first time....There were some tears shed, and most of them were from the parents.

Yes school has started here, and yesterday I got to direct parents, and students, and then play all morning with the deaf/blind child who goes to our school :P

I rode the shorty bus when I was his age... *disclaimer: there was nothing wrong with me*

and Pmom, that's awesome that there's a deaf/blind child and you socialize with that child...

Was = past tense. Does that mean there is something wrong with you now?

Yeah, I just found this out a few days before I left for school. I was driving Bonnie for what I knew was to be the last time for a few weeks (picking her up on friday :-D), and I was going about, eh, lets just say a few ticks faster than what normal people drive , when I came over a hill, and what did I see? a school bus going, like, 5 miles an hour below the speed limit. Thank God Bonnies rule so much, or I'd be looking at a pricey fine and a few bad looks for ramming into a school bus . But, yeah, they're out

yeah about a week ago I was heading to work and i completely forgot about the school that I drive past and well what do you know there is a radar gun with my name on it but the cop was cool and just waved for me to slow it down but I know that I wasn't the only one that was going too fast all of the cars behind were going at least 5 over what i was doing before I hit the brakes
