Firefighters: Flaming Squirrel To Blame In Jones Wildfire
|
It's all part of the animal conspiracy.

May we please have a moment of silence for the loss of this hairy, rabid, crazy lil creature..... *cough*..... thank you lol

I've been a professional firefighter for over 33 years. It's not uncommon to have fires started due to animals indoctrination to high voltage! I've seen Eagles, Blue Harron, Crows, Starlings and Cats cause fires. But, during my investigations I never identified the charred remains of a Squirrel. :)

We had the city blacked out once. Over 50k people without power. City was down for several hours. The cause, well, hard to say, but they did find some fur, and what looked like the shadow of a squirrel. It would seem the main transformer coming out of the power plant carries quite a kick.

In a local town here there was an outage that was caused by a flock of Starlings. Apparently a group of the nasty birds were on one feeder line and another group was on parallel feeder line. We assume that one bird on one feeder reached out to peck a bird on the other feeder line and then BOOM two feeder lines down and a pile of smoldering Starlings were scattered to the ground.

 We get them flocking together here in the fall. They light out of a stand of tree's and the sound is awesomely weird and loud, there are so many. They can black out the sun and cause a huge shadow on the ground as they meander about.
