I actually had my old car catch on fire while pulling up to a pump. It was my 83 LTD. I ws pulling in for some gas to fill it up while on the way to turn it in to the dealer on an exchange. The car sunddenly stalled so I coasted to a stop and poped the hood right next to the pump. Next thing you know there a re 3ft flames off of the drivers side header. My buddy who worked there ran out and put the flames out. I put a few gallons in and went to the dealer. I gave them the keys, they looked outside to verify the car was there, and then let me go.
Moral of the story.... What the dealer doesn't know can't hurt you! :twisted:
