Bored out 350

My FAVORITE part aobut this car:

It'* a friend of mine'* 1985 El Camino. He recently did a full bebuild on the engine tranny and rear end. It'* a bored out 350 (don't know by how much). Hoping for high 13'* low 14'* (actually his ONLY goal is to beat my bonnie, which I belive he has done, but won't know till Friday @ the track) Also just mounted drag radials yesterday, as shown in the pics. No cats with true dual flowmaster 40 series. All emissions and AC have been taken out.

Pretty badass IMO!

That car would look awesome with the Monte Carlo SS front end on it. Just the part in front of the fenders that goes around the lights.

I have seen it done in the past. That thing must sound just amazing also.

I need to chime in here...its my friend'* too. It sounds....well, I guess heavenly would be a good way to describe it. Its probably the best sounding vehicle I've ever heard. You can hear him coming from a mile away too.

Looks like a very clean car.

I'm also willing to bet with what he obviously has done to it (ignition, intake, headers), on top of what is likely done to it (cam & gears), combined with the tires he has on the back, that it will beat your car. But thats just an educated guess based on what I know small blocks SHOULD do if built halfway right.

Even my worn out stock 305 will pull off high 15'*.
