A sad day for Packers fans
Well, it'* official. Brett is now retired. If history repeats itself, our team is going to suck for the next 10 years or so. :(

Sorry, thought you were telling me to support the Lions. Just meant that I was still gonna rute for the Pack. I know what you mean though. The Brew Crew is finally comming around again too. Guess two good sports teams is just too much to ask for!

it'* really a big thing here in wisconsin. he officially announced it on tuesday, and i don't think i've had a day since then where i didn't hear a lot about it. that day, there were guys in my english class saying that they were considering not even coming to class for that reason. there'* about 20 new facebook groups about brett, facebook added an even for october 10 (brett'* birthday) and naming it "favre day".
and the funniest thing, in a radio poll two days ago (for "would you rather" wednesday), they asked "would you rather have Brett Favre return to the packers for one more season provided they're guaranteed to go to the super bowl and win, or have $10,000 donated to a charity of your choice?"
of course more people chose favre returning to the packers
personally, i'm not that upset, because he has to retire at some point. he almost did last year, i don't see how people couldn't see this coming.

Agreed its sad and agreed we will prolly suck now, but you gotta admit, that dude was old as hell for a football player and he needed to retire years ago. Surprised he didnt break a hip
