Engine mounts and transmission mounts 3.8 SFI 88 vs 3800 SI

Would a 3800 Series I fit in a 88 cutlasss ciera 3.8 engine mount and tranny mount wise and how close would the connectors be? (for sensors and stuff). Whats the years they made series I?
