Go to Home Depot and buy some "Zep Industrial Purple." It costs about fourteen bucks for a 3.7 litre jug and can be diluted way down. does an excellent job and all you have to do is spray it liberally on a warm engine. No scrubbing required! I've been using it for years and have never had a problem. Be sure to rinse well, of course.

The smell from the Tide will stay in that carpet for a looong time. Beats any car air freshener.
Tempting.. very tempting. Haha

That looks really good. My headlights are still fairly clear, so no need for that yet.

I'll have to take a look for this too. Thanks!

I allways use the cheap dollar store oven cleaner with no problems even on the fire wall and wheel wells . But check the wind dirrection you dont want to get any of the fumes. I've done this many times on customers car and all of mine a couple times a year .

After watching some videos on Youtube, a lot of toothpastes work. It seems like as long as it has a gritty texture. I'd say the arm and hammer is the best though.

It don't look too bad. I might give the UIM and valve cover another good scrub later the week.
