In the past here we have had some problems with the Edit Posts Feature that included:
Former Admins and their allies removing info from thread/posts. (Just stating fact~This is not an opportunity to flame)
Some of these People returning to harass and Post redirects and personal attacks on Members in the open, then editing it back out.
Spammers placing links and then pulling them.
It became both a large problem to Moderate, and one that one that allowed critical Tech Info and Pictures to be lost so I pulled the Permission outright. I now feel enough time has elapsed to reconsider and turned the Permission back on with some limited stipulations to insure the aforementioned problems do not resurface.
Editing Permissions have been Re-activated for the Following for a 10 minute window. GearHeads, Site Promoters, and all Levels of Site Supporters.
This is as far as I am willing to go and I will not be receptive to any further criticism. Either Learn how to spell, Recheck your posts before submitting, or get FireFox that supports SpellChecker here.
