ok so just got back, it was an awesome movie. Special effects were amazing, they way the story was told was actually pretty sweet. Just one thing that bothered me:
The ending - lets just say hopefully theres a Cloverfeild 2
definitely worth seeing on the big screen

I saw it tonight as well, on accident. I was hangin out with my friends that are still in town and we ended up goin to the movies.
I liked it, it was awesome, though it kinda made me sick/dizzy, i think there was too much camera movement, but i liked how it was done, its different...
The ending leaves you questioning just about everything still, there better be a Cloverfield 2, but im doubtfull...
anyway, Good Movie!

Saw it tonight!
FREAKING AWESOME!!!! BEST monster movie for like 30 years. It was just incredible, the effects, the actual monster, the way it was shot, EVERYTHING was just excellent. I just saw it about an hour ago so I'll let it sink in some more and then I'll post a real review

BTW, for anyone who has not seen it yet, or is going back for another viewing, I heard on O&A that you need to stay through the credits. Apparently, something is said during a bit in the credits that supposedly gives a hint to the origin of the monster?

I KNEW IT!!!!
My friends always stay through the credits to see those last hidden clips at the end of the credits, but everyone was too tired last night
If someone saw what Brian was talking about, PM me, I wanna see it

I thought the movie was good, nothing more. I won't be buying the DVD but I'm hoping there will be a part 2. There were just too many questions left unanswered at the end but thats what keeps the movie interesting all the way thru too.
The movie foretold too much imo, so I had a good idea of how it was going to end. And who didn't know what they were going to see when they turned on nightvision?? LOL
All in all it was a decent movie if you can deal with the Blairwitch style it was filmed in. Sadly its not the blockbuster I was hoping for.
