Is there any way to take a DVD and put just the sound onto a CD?

I think you can take a Ripping program and just rip the audio track to the hard drive of a computer.

Will WMP work?

i've never used that before... I've used Clone DVD for my burning needs. I think with that program you can select just to rip the audio tracks.
