im at school right now i cant look but when the 128 is all buy its self if the computer will the HP screen come up and then it goes black and hangs their. but when the 128 and 64 are both in it will just restart over and over. i might just bring it to work and see if the it will swap for a pc100 if he can get the my pc133 to work in one of our work computer. if not i think its a bad ram BUT it wouldnt read at the bios if it was bad. right?

Sounds like your ram card is screwed. You will either have to take it back and get a new one, or take it to a place that fixes computers, and get them to use diagnostics and then they will replace the ram if that'* what it is.
That happened to me a few yrs back, and I had to send my comp back to radio shack, and they sent it away, and thats what the problem turned out to be, was bad ram.

Certain brands of ram may not work well in certain brands of pc'*. I once swapped ram with a buddy because I had a pc I made myself and the memory he bought wouldn't work in his...but worked fine in mine. Mine worked great in his pc.
