Default diesel cars

ive been looking for different dd'* for years since they gm doesnt make any w-coupes anymore. electric isnt viable yet, too expensive and not enough range. diesel would be a good option, ive been in a few jetta tdi'* and they are nice. just difficult to get for reasonable money they are about 25new and they dont get sold for the most part until they got some miles on them. i looked for months before i just found a decent 07 monte and bought that instead. but they are used up so im going to have to buy something different next time and came across this article sounds reassuring that chevy and mazda are going to come in with reasonable priced cars to get out of vw'* monopoly.

Nice article. Mazda needs the diesel, they make great cars but the fuel economy of their small cars is about 20% less than Honda and Toyota.

I would also put a BMW 3 series and possible 5 series on my radar of consideration. The BME 325/328 get awesome fuel economy and are super reliable- all with German design.

A nice 2003 328 with 90k miles can be had for under 6k, and it will last with only needing brake pads and window regulators for 200k miles. I wish I would of learned about the reliability and fuel economy of smaller BMWs years ago.

You might want to look at a 325/328 xi. BMW has been making the 3 series AWD version since the 80s. Super dependable, super safe and bet you can't spin it on a wet off ramp.

I have seen the excellent condition XIs sell for between 5-7k, with 90-110k miles. They take time to find.

apparently you havent seen me drive, lol. i woudnt mind a awd, but most of the ones i looked at you pay a penalty of mileage, initial cost and maintenance cost. for example there were alot of subarus that looked interesting but the cost was alot more than just having a monte or impala

Why not look into CNG upgrade? $1.99 per gallon.
