Default Blizzard!

You wouldn't believe it...first blizzard of the year right now. Looking out the office window and can hardly see the church 2 blocks away.

40° cold rain here. Not far from snow. We rarely get the white stuff before mid January. This year is going to be an exception, methinks.

Down in N Ca last weekend, I was working on my Mom'* house in a Tshirt.

You miss the snow?! You gotta be mad!

I did get the chance to test out the traction control when leaving collage yesterday. I just slammed on the gas in a parking lot and the car hardly spun and just went 5mph. That made me feel somewhat safer

Yea... Tamara and I had to deal with that Winter Storm that hit us on the way back from Montreal / Ottawa. We pulled into a truck stop.. and I decided to have some fun and see how she reacts in snow.. the ground was nicely covered with snow with gobs of room.. took traction control off.. and tried to get the rear end to spin around ( even with parking brakes.. it didn't want to ).. the rear end just follows wherever the front end points to. Kinda dissappointing at first.. but at least I know in an emergency that might be a good thing.. ( It was so easy with my cavalier with the help of Emergency brakes.. ). But then Tamara mentioned about using reverse.. so we had some fun in reverse. Overall... I think the Bonneville out handles my Cavalier in winter anytime ( for at least normal driving.. not drifting around )

i don't have traction control at all (it'* broke and i don't have enough $$ to fix it) but i can spin around by using the parking brake. All i gotta do is hold out the release lever and then use it as a regular brake. cause it locks up the rear. holding down the release helps it to not lock up. when i did this, i got all the way around pretty fast. but i agree, reverse is a lot more fun.
