Take in to account how much time your going to be on it. A van will take longer then a small car. that'* why I don't set a price, I quote. By pointing out every little thing, they think it'* fair. The surface is rough, ya, I can smooth that up. Look at this big scratch, someone must have hit you with a shopping cart, ya, I can clean that up, those swirl marks, ya, I con get that too. But keep in mind I'm not going to get a show room finish. It will look good, but not perfect. Then when they come back walk around the car, point out what you fixed and say ya, that scratch was a pain, but I got it real good, see. Fell the surface, see how smooth that is. Taking time to talk to them makes them feel better, and brings them back. Then say, next time you come back the price will be a bit lower because I cleaned up most of the problems. They are happy, and will go out and tell friends.

Your going to be able to take Kristo in an arm wrestling contest if ya get busy. HA!
Whenever you think of adding features like touch ups, its good to think of how much business it would really bring, and think out the negatives before the positives. One idiot looking for a miracle who ends up suing you can take all the good away.

sweetness thanks dan! i most def see what you are saying about the whole quoting in person & all
my biggest fear though is that some stupid guys i know from school or whatever will come to the business & bother me bout stupid stuff or hit on me, of course then again if my dad sees it he'll kick them off of the property lol a couple years ago a young employee starting hitting on me & needless to say that he wasnt around very long

And this is why you quote with the owner there for the walk around. Look, a dent, look, a scratch, look, a chip. never promise a show car finish. It'* not going to happen, ever.
