Pontiac 6000 LE'*
i always thought of them as the bonneville'* little brother or sister. what do you guys and gals think of this car that i have heard also been refered to as a tank.

I affectionatly call them gooole'*. Don't much like them. They're kind of like the old 88'*. They could be a decent car, there'* just way too darn many of them! But unlike the 88'*, the gooole'* are not very well taken care of.

Junk. Neighbour had an '86 with the 2.5L fourbanger. Really bad junk. Body was in okay shape. Low mileage. How can a fully functioning engine make such a terminal noise?
At least it'* an '87 Bonneville LE that replaced it

My friend had one. The interior was as low rent as it got with power nothin'. However, the one option it did have was the 3100 V6 and full gauge cluster. That engine could really move that 2800lb. econobox. I kid you not I drove it and swear it could probably beat a 3800 L27 with 2.84 gearing off the line. I was in the car when he got it up to 120mph.

I never heard anything good about the 6000'*.......A friend of mine had one......didn't last very long at all.....About 3 months and 4k and the bastard blew sky hi.......ya that one went to the bone yard in a hurry
