Bald Eagle (a lil 56k warning)
Just though I'd share, a couple minutes ago someone was looking out the window only to see this (sorry about the gigantic pictures, but hey whatever )....

that is awesome Jeanie....i saw one once in the wildlife refuge in Titusville Flordia when i lived there..Jr3800 knows what i'm talking about....only seen 1 or 2 in my life....definitly a sight... thanks for sharing

about a year ago i was driving over a bridge and i look to the right and there is a bald eagle about 20 feet away flying next to my car, that was pretty awesome, ive also seen an albino deer in the local park, and a fox as big as a golden retriever, too bad i dont own a digital camera

In Minnesota they are thriving pretty well. There are about 6 nests' in the area that I am aware of ....one is less than 500 feet from my cousins lake cabin which is about 10 miles from me. Everytime I'm there a Bald Eagle flies over at no more than 50-70 feet up.

Yeah, I've seen them fly overhead before but never one that sat around like this. We have a bunch of pics of this guy since he was in the tree for well over twenty minutes-obviously enjoying some small creature for dinner. It was pretty unique to see one like that...I wish it was lighter so the pictures could be better but you can't have everything.
