Default damn cheapo jacks

i got a jack package at pepboys, 2 ton floor jack, a pair of 2 ton jack stands, and a creeper for $30, all the stuff works BUT the jack is too small, it literally gets the tires 2 or 3 milimeters off the ground, so now i have to take it back and get a bigger one, thats what i get for beaing cheap i guess

Never cheap out on jacks or stands. Good way to drop something.

Get a good Craftsmen all-aluminum 4-ton floor-jack, it'* expensive, but if you use a jack a lot, it,* worth it. Especially if you take it to and from the track on a regular basis to change slicks.
And my jackstands are big 4-ton mothers too, don't remember what brand, but they're massive.
