This if for diehard tool fenatics.

This topic has just come up and I want to start a poll for those people that have accumulated at least $10,000.00 in any tools including saws drills sprayers etc.(price included the box that you store your tools in) that you have purchased in your life time. Tool pricing is determined by the price that you paid when you purchased them new.

This poll will determine if you paid more for the tools that you bought, then you saved by doing the work yourself..

In other words, are you a tool fanatic, or are you actually saving money by doing the work yourself with the aid of the tools? This can include any tools that are needed to perform house renovations etc.

Bill, I must have reached that amount over 20 years ago. You must have over that by now. Heck your tool boxes alone must be over $1,000.00 when they were purchased new.

I have maybe $1000 worth of tools....used resale value around $300.

My dad may have $10,000 worth..but he has been collecting them for 40 years.

I've saved at least $1000 doing car repairs myself vs a mechanic.
