Cotm / Botm
For newer Members that stands for CarOfTheMonth/BonnevilleOfTheMonth.
Most know the history of the www.bonnevilleforum.com
We started as a Bonneville only Forum almost 10 years ago and have endured many changes and reformations along the way. The result has always been a larger, stronger Club, and I believe my latest decision will be no different.
When we decided to expand, buy the present domain, and include all Sports Type GM Cars; we had thought it best to rename COTM to BOTM. And just continue to run a Bonneville monthly contest. This was merely because we didn't have the volume of other Models to do a monthly contest and figured we would include other Models with their own contests as it became feasible. We have been discussing about how the BOTM contest nominations are beginning to dwindle and that some of the other Models are becoming more numerous. So,......
In light of the overwhelming support our move has to include all of GM to our Home from our original members, that many of those originals had other models to begin with on the same platform or engine, and it becoming harder each month to hold a BOTM contest (Thats a mouthful) The original COTM contest will be reactivated to include all Models. I think the Forum has grown and gelled, and it'* time has come.
Rules will be the same except to cover all GM owning members. This will commence after the present BOTM round is finished. So I hope all concerned will get their GM awesomeness Washed and Shined and ready for COTM II.
I know for some, this will be a bit to stomach, but we are on a new path now, the majority seems comfortable with it, and truly I believe this change'* time has come. By becoming a haven for GM'* "forgotten" brands, we have become a bigger, more active, stronger Forum, Let'* remember we all have some very common roots and the time has come to share and share alike.

The interest in the one brand had waned and causing Staff to have to bump Nom threads several times in the last several contests. I rather move forward and deal with one contest that appeals to all members, all cars. Not only makes for less work, but a more fair Forum.
