Troubleshooting tips on the sonoma 4.3
Cranks fine, no start, doesn't even try to fire.
Wire and plug on ign coil, gets 1 spark when cranking started and 1 spark when stopping cranking. Replaced ICM, dist cap and rotor. FSM says three seperate ohms readings on ign coil, all three check out. Pick-up coil checks out at 800 ohms.
Suggestions?

we don't have spark. Haynes says if you only get 1 spark, it'* called a no spark condition. there is 12v at the ign coil, coil ohms good. the "C" and "+" terminals at the ign coil have 11.5v with ign on. Short of just throwing a new coil in for wasting money'* sake, I'm at a lose.

Looking at the schematic, the ICM is attached to the ECM by 4 wires ( IC, REF HI, REF LOW, IGN BY) Going to try to find an ECM from a doner truck.

I have a 91 Sonoma as my daily beater with a 4.3 series Z engine.
Let me look tonight at my wiring diagram. That being said there was a big difference from the 91 to 92 model years.

I will hazzard a guess and say that this is the Central Port Injection HO 4.3?
