Wrecked 93 Sentra is slow!
Wouldn't you know?
The title should say it all. I had a Sentra that was hit in the side, and the body is bent so badly that it'* almost too dangerous to drive. The engine started out at 108hp when it was new, but the guy who bought it from me put in Bosch plugs with Valucraft plug wires.
There'* also a hole in the exhaust manifold. Actually, it'* more like a complete tear. The engine is a 4-beater, and its exhaust goes out towards the front. The exhaust pipe is completely detached from the manifold. My friend tried welding it back on, but had to go. He never finished, and it opened back up to being away from the pipe.
The tires are smaller than my spare, and they're pretty bald. If that'* not bad enough, my friend dropped the tranny fluid pan, and there were 3x5mm, 2D-like pieces of aluminum all through the fluid. Some were smaller, actually. He used to keep a cup of this metal in his back seat, but he got rid of it. The car still goes, though.
Recently, this tragedy of a crate of a vehicle was taken out to be gunned from 0 to see what happens. It'* sad. It'* so funny because the thing is actually slower with the exhaust properly attached. That'* actually part of why it'* wrecked. I was driving my dad in it because we had just bought it, and it couldn't go up the slightest incline with little throttle. In fact, in D, it went in reverse a little bit and couldn't go up the hill before a Stratus flew out and smashed into it.
We figured that we could easily test the acceleration of this car up to the speed limit no matter the location because this is technically not racing at all. The car just sounded like the ricer of ricers, but it basically did 0-45 in about 20 seconds. It'* so hilarious that I'm smiling just writing about this "acceleration test." We've found out, after extensive testing, that the car does not truly accelerate. We're happy now.
