Alright, here is the finish for the Coke 600 this year. Tons of people are bitching that NASCAR should have flown the yellow because of the incident that took place on the restart. They are citing the fact that Jeff Burton slid in front of the field, and that Brad Keselowski got all tore up.
They are ignoring however, the fact that by the time would have waved the yellow all the cars were already around Burton, and that BK getting tore up didn't put any debris/fluid on the track. Because of these facts, I'm of the opinion that NASCAR did the right thing by not throwing the yellow and letting them race to the end.
Letuce discuss!

Restarts are incredibly intense and I believe they did the right thing. When everyone'* punching the gas hard and accelerating like that, it'* hard to say if something is intentional or blatant bad driving. "Hit it and GET it."!!! If they started picking through restarts with a fine tooth comb, it would take alot of flavor out of a game I feel has been to diluted all ready.
Earnhardt'* gas trouble Was Pretty Funny, Eh?!

Well, when watching the highlights I can see how people would be pissed. They threw the caution for a beer can on the apron prior to this.

Not a big nascar fan, but it just so happened to be on and I was thinking, "what'* going on, he'* out in front why isn't he going, out of gas???".
That'* gotta suck when you are 3 seconds away from the line.

Why is it if "their" guy came out a jump ahead of Dale when he ran out of gas those same people would NOT have said a thing about the yellow. Nascar has lost alot of shine and exitement over the years from over regulating. When crap like the beer can incident happen , the official should have been publicly censured and FINED just like a Driver is based on his own salary. If there isn't blood or a potential accident on the track stay out of the race and out of the results. Nascar isn't about officials and management at/near the top. get your face out of my screen and let'* see what he race is suppose to be about. Top drivers, cars, and unpredictable conditions. Sick of seeing "politically correct" thinking in whats supposed to be an arena of speed and wits.

Track looked clear to me. I'm no expert but I thought there was something about the last lap and no yellow flags, I could be wrong on that. I guess the liberal left and unions have to get into everything and complain. If they got there way, no mention, but loose, and cry.

Nah, they can throw the caution. NASCAR started the whole 3 tries at a green-white-checker last year. They've used it a few times too. Daytona last year being the first one LOL.
